Lloyd and Diana English are career musicians who make Saltspring their home. Both continue to have active musical lives performing, recording and teaching while managing their music school on the Saanich Peninsula. Their professional lives have provided opportunities ranging from directing and teaching to commercial music production and live concerts in an array of musical genres from pop to classical.

Our home on Salt Spring Island has two comfortable teaching studios with waiting area as well. We are located just a couple of minutes from Portlock Park on Broadwell Road. We currently teach on Fridays and Mondays on the island.

We are affiliated with the Royal Conservatory and have guided many students through exam preparation at every level including harmony and theory and at the same time have diverse performance backgrounds in many different styles.

For us music is a passion and has been our life’s work since early childhood. There is no substitute for the benefits that music and a music education can bring to students, listeners and participants of any age.
